Yeah, Templars can solo, but very slowly due to the lack of DPS Lol.

Templars have skills that utilies a Greatsword, so don't think you ALWAYS have to be using that sword and shield, switch it up and if your HP gets low go back to shield in the middle of battle. you can swap weapons in combat, and it GREATLY helps. ^_^

I really enjoyed my Templar in the CBT's. Maybe since we seem to be Sorcerer heavy (which is certainly not a bad thing) I'll focus on leveling my Templar a bit.

Well I've been lvling up my Temp Brumyn. I have been having so much fun with him that he is now officially my main. I hit lvl 19 with him today and tanked a Krall group. Had a blast!

Great to hear! We were falling short on Tanks. Even though we have so many signed up, the odds of having any more than 1 on at a time was rather slim xD. Same with healers.

I jumped on the Alt train too, got myself an Assassin named Dariuk. Until my connection issues get fixed, or I find a solution to my constant rubber-banding, playing higher than lvl 14 or 15 is too rough on my poor squishy sorc.

What's your ping at? (type /ping while in game) A couple things you might be able to do. - Reset your router (if you have one).
- Have your isp reprovision your modem.
- See if you can upgrade your internet speed, also.
- If you are wireless, try to connect directly to the router/modem instead.
Also there is a latency fix that is suppose to help some people tremendously by adjusting how your computer accepts packets. The little program was written by someone who plays WoW: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info13581-LeatrixLatencyFix.html

Thanks for the suggestions Elleree, I'll give a few of those things a try.
I live in a rural part of Alaska (no roads) so all internet here is through satellite. I've tried plugging directly into the cable modem and stiull had the same results. I'll have to get with my isp and see if they can do something about my modem. I have a felling I might be SOL, and just be stuck with a bad connection. (Already have the fastest connection available through my ISP).

ohh...Satellite. Yup. Satellite sucks for some gaming, unfortunately. The latency rate on Satellite is much higher compared to cable/dsl/fios. Here is a site that is supposed to have some tweaks you can make that might improve your bandwith: http://www.wildblue.cc/wbforums/showthread.php?t=3323

Internet in Alaska is one other reason to play MUDs.
