So i'm now 41. and have been avoiding the abyss seeing as how any one lvl 46+ I won't be able to hurt very much and alot of 45+ asmos are out in force on our server. we own 0 artifacts and 0 fortresses. so today EVERY SINGLE asmo fort was vulnerable to attack so I got a group and we went to go feint an attack on a fort. well we show up and we outnumbered the asmos 2-1 and STILL THE FREAKING ELYOS ARE SCARED... I charged in knowing I was gonna die first but hey if it gets the rest to go in what ever. We charge in break the gate get inside and I look behind me and every one is running away... why? because they saw a bunch of red diamonds ready to defend the fort... if the stupid player base in this game is SO SCARED of dieing and loosing a few AP points then what is the point of playing at all? it becomes a which ever side has more numbers to boost every one's ego will own the stupid abyss... and I mentioned it in general chat and the replies where pretty much the same. "we don't care about PvP we want to PvE." well guess what some of the fastest and best ways to get gear is through the abyss so if ya don't want it to take forever grow a pair and charge into battle. you may "die" but at least TRY to take people out with you. Thats my motto. 1 kinah SH from dieing from an asmo is beter then the 80K SH from dieing from mobs. So that being said I've began to wonder. What if I side swapped? do the Asmo's have this much BS going on on thier side? please any opinion on the matter is welcomed.

Yeah Elyos kind of suck PvP wise now. It's a shame, no one seems to care for it now. We use to have most forts in abyss but things have gone downhill now.
And I would prefer to die by an asmos hand and pay the 1kinah in SH.
And it's funny those that complain that we have no forts are the ones that do not help to capture or defend them.

It is a shame that we have no forts, or no willing elyos to take them or defend them. No one seems to care anymore and I don't think it will change anytime soon.

I think it's a mix of people not used to PvP, and people that are getting sick of Fort capping. I'm sure once there is a content update, and the new classes and PvP options open up, the Elyos will be a lot more interested in running PvP again.
