I agree, its one uber card. Just a little too much for me. I can't see the justification on spending $400 to $500 on a video card, but to each their own I say. I'm aiming for the 465 myself.

Yeah, I'm trying to get all the high end stuff gradually. So that when more comes out, my system will last a few years without any major upgrades xD.

Thats what I did with this rig that i'm running, I wanted something to last at the LEAST 2 years before I couldn't stand it any more and upgraded, of course I am an upgrade whore so >_> it's been difficult to not go out and buy a new vid card... which in all honesty is the ONLY part i'd upgrade Xp

Yeah, I really just want the best gfx card money can buy, and the best Processor on the market. And of course, I'll need a bigger power supply to run it all, lol. Everything else is pretty much more than anyone would need for some time.

When I bought the nvidia GTX 260 Geforce graphics card last year I had to trade up the 150w default power supply that came with the box so I bought an 800w and also upgraded the processor to a Core 2 quad processor. Adding my old hard drive in the hp box almost didn't fit...the sata connection pops out occasionally because it it jammed right up against the graphics card. I'm really tempted to buy a larger box but I know if I do that I will want to fill it with more upgrades. I'm trying to be a good girl and not buy any more electronic gadgets especially since I bought the dsi xl a month ago. Personal Trainer: Walking was on sale from $50 to $15 so I bought that and have been trying since to walk more. It really has been encouraging me to be more active

I could use a personal trainer, lol. But with my schedule I'm never even awake during the day anyway xD.

There is one thing I would fix with the Personal Trainer: Walking program. It's cut off is at 3:00am. Since I work graveyard shift that cuts off the day and starts the new one in the middle of my shift. It also calculates when I'm asleep as inactive periods and gives me classifications as if I were being lazy during the day. I would reset it if I could to maybe 3:00pm. That way it starts the new day while I'm asleep. It would also know that the 8 inactive hours in the middle of the day are sleep cycle and would not count them as "inactivity".

lol I guess I'm more of the cautious upgrader. I wait at least a year or two before buying today's cutting edge computer stuff. That way all teh bugs have been found and dealt with. Granted, it'll no longer be cutting edge, but..... -shrugs-
